Weird Milk’s musical odyssey began in the English countryside, before greater ambitions drew them to the capital, to further study and pursue music. The group are Charlie Glover-Wright, Zach Campbell, Alex Griffiths, Joe ‘Blue’ Moyle and Alex Guess. Echoes of The Beach Boys, Harry Nilsson and The Beatles flirt with more contemporary influences such as The Strokes and Arctic Monkeys, lending to a punchy and relevant means of delivering their nostalgic allure. With praise buzzing across the BBC Radio 1 / 6 Music airwaves (Annie Mac, Jack Saunders, Steve Lamacq) and throughout the tastemaker community (NME, The Line Of Best Fit, So Young, DIY), the quintet’s status amongst the emerging indie elite continues to grow.
