Lily Fontaine is the vocalist, guitarist and synthesist in Leeds-based quartet English Teacher. They released their sparkling debut LP ‘This Must Be Texas’ in May 2024, to critical acclaim, sold-out tours in the UK and the US and a triumphant Mercury Prize win (the first act outside of London to win in a decade).
