This show has been rescheduled from 2020. Original tickets remain valid for the new date.
With gossamery vocals and sparse guitar parts, Alice Robbins brings her distinctive sleepy indie sound to The Bodega for a full band headline show. For the release of her debut EP Lavender Honey(May 2019), Alice went on tour across the UK, finishing with a sold out Rough Trade Nottingham show. Since then with over one million streams on Spotify and multiple BBC 6 Music and XFM radio plays, Alice is going from strength to strength. Having played alongside the likes of Rae Morris, Do Nothing and Benedict Benjamin, She has since played Ronnie Scotts and BBC Introducing Live in London.
Her newest release, the brooding G.D.F.S came out earlier this year to high acclaim and 30k streams to date, and leaving room for many more releases to come this year.
“A talented instrumentalist in her own right…(Alice) could be compared to the likes of Joni Mitchell and Daughters Elena Tonra…for her distinctive fusion of indie and folk music.” Sam Allison – Rough Trade
“Occupying a paradisal place between sleepy indie and progressive folk…With a sound that’s delicate yet ballsy, we can’t wait to watch her soar in 2020.” Becky Timmins – Left Lion
