Welcome back Sancho Panza, how are you all?
We’re very well Bodgea, thanks for asking. Feeling excited for Saturday
Last time we spoke to you ‘Sheikhdown’ had just come out and ‘Sell It’ was on the cusp of being released. Have you been working on many new tunes since then?
Yeah we’ve been writing and recording pretty nonstop since then. We’ve just released our new single Bremerhaven (I Got Loose) which you should all check out. Will have another single out before the end of July and plenty more to follow.
There’s been a switch around in members since your last show, do you feel that’s changed the songwriting process at all?
The songs have always started at home with an acoustic guitar or with some new funky riff from Harry Laycock. Beau Presley has been a massive addition, that guy rocks.
A few of you have been in Spain recently did you manage to play any shows whilst you were abroad?
We mainly just blew all the band money in Vigo and chilled out. We played in this Irish bar the one night which was a great laugh. Great Place, would highly recommend.
Dot To Dot this year was a hectic day for you guys, how was the whole experience for you?
It was a great day as always. We played with our other band WCBL twice and at The Carousel with Sancho Panza. D2D is always great
Have you got many other shows planned over summer?
We have Kendal Calling and a few other festivals round the East Midlands coming up soon. We’re Headlining The Windmill July 15th. Mainly saving ourselves for a tour in October and beyond.
Lastly is there anything we should brace ourselves for as a venue?
I think you are well aware of most of our nonsense by now but we’ll try and throw in some some surprises. Make sure to get there early for Sex Toy Vending Machine and Wilf Spiv.
