As festival season comes to a close, we take a look at some of the artists that brought the noise to Reading & Leeds this summer and happen to be bringing the noise to Notts very soon…
DEAD PONY
Having released their visceral debut album ‘Ignore This’ earlier this year, Scot-Rockers Dead Pony are set to have a corker of a show. Having sold out the gig months in advance, the buzz for this one is through the roof and we’re very excited to hear the new tunes loud and live. NOISY
Bringing the dance to Nottingham we’ve got Noisy who’s eclectic blend of rap, amen breaks and a love of rave culture is set to kick things off upstairs. This August they released their huge single ‘Jackin’ The System’ in the midst of a successful summer of shows. If you’re after something that opens the pit but rumbles your chest with hefty basslines then this is the band for you.

ALLESI ROSE
Alessi Rose has wowed audiences with her latest EP ‘rumination as ritual’, a perfectly crafted indie-pop blend that has seen has fan-base grow larger and larger this summer. With heartfelt lyrics and an authentic self-produced feel this show is set to be one to remember. Catch her here, you might not see her on a stage this size again!

VENUS GRRRLS
Buckle in, Venus Grrrls are returning to The Bodega for a huge headline show having opened things up for Sprints back in April. With roots in Riot Grrrl, the alt-rock quintet have proved themself to be a spectacle of a live band, blending raspy sounding guitars and empowering discourse. With a new single ‘Darla’ having just hit streaming services, these lot are steamrolling into the new year!

THE LUKA STATE
A European tour and a main stage Reading & Leeds slot, you would’ve thought things couldn’t get any better for The Luka State but now they’re heading out on a UK run! With their 2023 album More Than This packed with ‘ferocious rock anthems’ these lot are stadium ready. Come and see them blow the roof off The Bodega this winter.

GOOD NEIGHBOURS
Last up we’ve got Good Neighbours who’s single ‘Home’ has amassed them a huge cult following over the past year. That said, these guys are no one hit wonders and their gigs over festival season have proved this. Dig through some of their other tracks and come catch them live at our place!
