Lending eclectic instrumental support to Maddy’s alluring vocals the band create a densely layered, atmospheric sound that combines slick psychedelia with Morricone-esque filmic soundscapes.
‘Shootout Sunday’ out now on Fat Cat Records is a swaggering homage to 60’s low-fi garage rock, set firmly in a slick west coast modality. It’s a westernised take on the disillusionment of arrival fallacy; a Bonnie & Clyde-esque tale of two lovers mourning the journey’s end.
