REDFACES

After storming performances at Community Festival, and support slots with DMA’S Sheffield’s RedFaces announce a headline UK tour in September (dates below).

It’s already been a jam-packed year for the band, from playing a sold out set at Live at Leeds last month, to sponsoring the kit for their local football team Ecclesall Rangers, RedFaces are showing no signs of slowing down. Latest single ‘Wise Up’, the follow up to last year’s incendiary debut ‘Kerosene’ is currently setting playlists alight across the board. Watch the video, shot in Brighton at this year’s Great Escape Festival here: https://youtu.be/BeahvURBk1k

RedFaces are Harry Lyon, Isaac White, Charlie Yapp and Ryan Laycock. Four lads from Sheffield treading what was once a well-worn path, these days the road less travelled. The journey started at 2Fly studios in Sheffield, recording demos with Alan Smyth, the man behind the Arctic Monkey's first ventures. Out of these sessions came the band’s first release 'Katie Come Home' in early 2015 – championed by BBC Introducing it also attracted the attention of the London A&R fraternity, eventually signing with RCA last year.

SUPER FURNITURE

Super Furniture as named by Eddie Argos (Art Brut), are an up and coming indie rock band from Nottingham.
After a few years of writing music together, Herbie and Jonathon decided to form a full band with Will and Josh in late 2015. They started gigging immediately - already building a good name for themselves. In June they won the Future Sound of Nottingham competition after playing the Rock City main stage and went on to open the Splendour main stage in July.

Having finished recording their debut single "Vultures", it received radio airplay on BBC Introducing (East Midlands) and was song of the week on Gravity Radio. and also played across other stations like Kemet FM before being released on 2/7/2016.

"One of the most captivating, expressive bands I have witnessed definitely one of my favourites!" - Darren Blair (Music Business Management)

"I love the sound of that band, just great!" - Dean Jackson (BBC Introducing)

"With sprinklings of indie, math rock, and some pop sensibility too. For a band that have only just released their debut single, they sound tight. And wait until you see them rock out – they do it like pros. For fans of: a good headbang" - Left Lion
