Described as sounding like “The Black Keys in a fist fight with the Rolling Stones” and with their last E.P All My Days receiving air play on BBC Introducing, this Nottingham group has been growing a following around their local scene with their own brand of blues based rock n roll and high energy performances.
Their New E.P. Pistol Whipped is ready to be unveiled and this will surely be an event not to be missed. The origin of the group’s name is inspired by a shocking incident that welcomed airplay of their first downloadable offering, “Skinny Dippin”. Avid music lovers at an exuberant underground student party played this tune so loud they soon found themselves surrounded by the boys in blue. The kids refused to turn it down and the law responded by using their 40,000 volt Tazer guns.
In honour of those brave souls they gave themselves the name, Tazer!

plus support from… FIELDS
”So with the Rescue Rooms busy and the atmosphere boisterous, Fields take to the stage. Before even a chord is plucked, I’m struck by how much the band look like bona fide rock stars.
Swaggering across the stage to pick up their instruments, they look like seasoned pros in the middle of a stadium tour. No nerves. No doubts. Just absolute confidence and laser focused ambition.
As for the music, Fields specialise in huge, anthemic beasts of songs. Think of The Charlatans at their most epic, The Libertines before heroin and crack robbed them of their vital spark, or The Jam at the height of their powers, and you have some idea of the Fields ‘sound’.
With thrilling duel vocal harmonies, tunes that take you to the moon and back, and an attitude that suggests they will succeed no matter what, Fields are pure class; and judging by new songs such as Blue and Spit It Out are only getting better and better.
A new addition to the exclusive club of Notts acts waiting to explode into the national consciousness.” • Left Lion
