“To everyone who has bought tickets for the upcoming UK and European tours, I’m afraid I have made the very difficult decision to cancel the shows. I’m working on my debut full length release and need to give it my sole focus to ensure I realise my vision for it. I am sorry for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause. I hope you trust me in saying it is the best thing for my project. You will hear from me soon. Thanks, Ben.”
BEN KHAN
Ben Khan is pleased to announce a UK and European autumn headline tour. The news comes off the back of Ben’s much anticipated sophomore EP 1000, released 11th May via his own Blessed Vice label.
Following on from festival slots in July and August including Latitude, Midi, Lowlands, Reading and Leeds, September and October will see Ben playing a spate of his own headline shows marking his move to bigger stages, including a September 30th date at Oval Space in London (full dates below).
The 22-year-old musician, vocalist, visual artist and producer has been making good on the promise of his breakout release 1992 last year, which earmarked him as one of the most individual and hotly tipped new British artists.
New single and EP title track ‘1000’ was introduced by Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1 as her Hottest Record and NPR in the US and took him straight to the top of the Hype Machine chart, as well as being added to the Radio 1 In New Music We Trust playlist. Meanwhile, Ben played inaugural and ecstatically received debut live shows, culminating in an instantly sold out show at London’s Cargo to a room overflowing at capacity.
