SPRING KING

Mancunian upstarts Spring King continue their reign of stages and speakers with today’s unveiling of the title-track from their upcoming They’re Coming After You EP, due for release on April 20th via Handsome Dad Records.

Erratic and spacey, ‘They’re Coming After You’ is a fidgety ode to paranoia, in which drummer/vocalist Tarek Musa’s production hits impressively plush new heights.

With raucous previous single ‘City’ sitting pretty on both the BBC 6 Music A-list and Radio 1’s BBC Introducing playlist slot, ‘They’re Coming After You’ shows a unifying new slant to Spring King’s multi-faceted approach to indie rock.

HEAT

The sound of Heat is all at once fresh and familiar. Equally calling to mind the 1970s proto-punk of New York City and the sprawling psychedelia of 90s UK shoegaze, it’s a sound that is infused with youthful attitude and is altogether self-assured at it’s core.

A call to arms to the tune of weaving guitars and baritone crooning, this Montreal 4-piece has been turning heads and catching ears worldwide.
Fresh off the heels off a stellar year; which saw them garner praise from the likes of the Guardian, NME, Q Magazine, and Noisey, Heat prepares for a whirlwind 2015. And the year starts well with the reissue of their self-titled EP which has been renamed Rooms on April 27th on Kitsuné.

Unpredictable and made to break to charts, Rooms includes two exclusive tracks, the Strokes –esque “All I Wanna Do” and “This Life“ which surely describes best the band’s sound, along with the catchy “Susifine” which is also on the label’s latest compilation “Kitsuné New faces II” ! Don’t miss you chance to see them live in festivals at SXSW and Great Escape or on tour in North America & Europe in late spring !
