Having wowed audiences across the UK in March with the addition of her newly formed live band, Marika Hackman has announced details of her largest UK headline tour to date. Opening in Edinburgh on 3rd November, the tour will see Marika playing a run of fifteen dates, ending in Brighton on Thursday 20th November at Green Door Store. Tickets will go on sale at 9:00 AM on Friday 11th July.
Intrigue is at the heart of Marika Hackman’s music but there’s something gloriously attainable about her as an artist and her commitment to touring and meeting with a receptive audience who are searching for the very same antidotes to the challenges of modern life.
After releasing a series of hugely revered singles and EPs over the last year, Marika Hackman is currently recording her highly anticipated debut album with producer Charlie Andrew (Alt-J, Eugene McGuinness), set for release later this year.

CHARLOTTE CARPENTER
Northampton-born singer-songwriter Charlotte Carpenter is a rising songstress, gravitating more readily towards blues and mixing Laura Marling’s breathless insight with Daughter’s ambient indie. Having three previously self-released EP’s under her belt, her most recent ‘Whole’ EP climbing to No.10 in the iTunes singer/songwriter Charts, followed with a recent download-only track ‘Siren Song’ which received a spin on Lauren Laverne’s 6Music show, it is clear Charlotte is much more than the sum of her influences.
Honing her stagecraft alongside fellow contemporary troubadours such as Marika Hackman, Ethan Johns, George Ezra and Annie Eve, Charlotte’s spectral sound and live shows have won her considerable acclaim and support from the likes of national indie publications Brum Notes and For Folk’s Sake, as well as glowing recognition from BBC Introducing.
Charlotte is currently recording her fourth EP which is set for an autumn release. Imbued with a more abrasive, rockier vibe than her older material, her latest record will look to demonstrate exactly why she will ‘soon be anointed alt’s newest darling.’
